Legion of St. Michael LEMC MN

 The Lakes Area Chapter was founded in 2023 by Darwin “Digger” Melin and Matt “Viper” Ledeboer as Minnesota’s first chapter of the Legion of St. Michael LEMC Inc.. Originally established in Willmar, Minnesota, the chapter now operates out of Clara City, Minnesota. 

Created with structure and purpose, Lakes Area was built to provide a disciplined and accountable outlet for law enforcement officers, first responders, and military veterans across Central Minnesota.

 As the founding Minnesota chapter, Lakes Area established the operational framework, leadership standards, and organized event structure that continue to guide the growth and expansion of the Legion of St. Michael LEMC MN statewide. 

 The Norsemen Chapter was founded in 2025 by Darwin “Digger” Melin and is based in the Litchfield, Minnesota area. Established as the second Minnesota chapter of the Legion of St. Michael LEMC, Norsemen carries forward the structured leadership standards, disciplined riding culture, and community-focused mission of the organization. 

The chapter provides a governed and accountable environment for law enforcement officers, first responders, and military veterans who share a commitment to service and professionalism on and off the road. Grounded in the Legion’s bylaws and operational framework, the Norsemen Chapter continues to represent Minnesota with integrity, leadership, and organized presence throughout the region. 

The River Valley Chapter was founded in 2026 by Scott “Bulls Eye” Bittrich and is based in the Waseca, Minnesota area. Established as the third Minnesota chapter of the Legion of St. Michael LEMC, River Valley expanded the organization’s presence into southern Minnesota while maintaining the same structured governance, leadership standards, and disciplined riding culture set by the founding chapters.

River Valley was built to provide a professional and accountable environment for law enforcement officers, first responders, and military veterans who are committed to service, integrity, and organized motorcycle events. Operating under the established bylaws and operational framework of the Legion of St. Michael LEMC MN, the chapter represents the mission of structured leadership, responsible riding, and community engagement throughout the Waseca region and surrounding communities.
