Join the Legion of St. Michael LEMC in getting your bikes blessed in Atwater, MN at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Bikes will be blessed from 11am - 2pm!

Many riders view it as a way to seek divine protection for safe travels, asking for blessings to guard against accidents, mechanical failures, and road hazards. It also serves as a tradition that brings together the motorcycle community, fostering camaraderie and shared values. Additionally, it can be a way to honor fallen riders, reflect on the road ahead, and start the riding season with a sense of purpose and mindfulness. Whether rooted in faith, tradition, or community, a bike blessing provides riders with a sense of peace and reassurance before they hit the road.

Legion of St. Michael Minnesota Presents: The 1st Annual Schmidt-Berger Ride
Honoring Two Heroes, Supporting the Future of Law Enforcement
Join us on June 14, 2025, as we ride in honor of Chief Reed Schmidt and Chief Trevor Berger, two dedicated public servants who devoted their lives to law enforcement and the safety of Atwater, MN. Both men tragically lost their battles with cancer, but their unwavering commitment to their community and profession will never be forgotten. This ride is our way of keeping their legacy alive and giving back in their names.

📍 Starting Location: The Handlebar, Atwater, MN
🕚 Kickstands Up: 11:00 AM
🏍 Ride Route: A scenic group ride through the heart of Minnesota in honor of our fallen heroes.
🎟 Fundraising & Activities:
- Silent Auction – Bid on exclusive items while supporting a great cause.
- 50/50 Drawings – Try your luck and take home some cash!
- Fellowship & Brotherhood – Connect with like-minded riders and community members in support of law enforcement.
🔵 Where Your Support Goes:
All proceeds will be dedicated to two scholarships:
- The Reed Schmidt K-9 Program Scholarship – Supporting the training and deployment of police K-9 units.
- The Trevor Berger Law Enforcement Degree Scholarship – Assisting future law enforcement officers in achieving their dreams of serving and protecting.
Reed and Trevor spent their lives protecting and serving others. Though cancer took them too soon, we will ensure their spirit of service continues by investing in the next generation of law enforcement.
This ride is more than just a journey—it’s a commitment to honor those who have served and to ensure the future of law enforcement remains strong.
