Ride to Honor: Captain Derek “Hooty” DuHoux

Start & End Location: Off Center Tavern, Clara City, MN

Join us as we ride to honor the life, legacy, and sacrifice of Captain Derek John “Hooty” DuHoux—a hometown hero, Army veteran, Apache pilot, crop duster, first responder, and proud American Legion member.

Derek lived a life of service, courage, and compassion. From the battlefields of Afghanistan and Djibouti to the fields of Minnesota, his leadership, heart, and humor touched all who knew him. On this day, we ride in his memory and in gratitude for the life he lived and the lives he impacted.

• Location: Off Center Tavern, Clara City, MN

• Registration: 9:00 AM

• Kickstands Up: 11:00 AM

• Return & Afterparty: Music, food, drinks, and stories shared in Derek’s honor

All vehicles are welcome—motorcycles, cars, trucks, and more. If you roll, you ride.

Proceeds will go toward causes close to Derek’s heart, including aviation scholarships, veteran mental health, first responder support, and Donate Life/Lifesource.

Let’s ride for “Hooty” – a fearless pilot, a loyal brother-in-arms, and a true American hero.
